BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
=1 COUNTX OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
2 RESOLUTION S[TPPORTING CHICO AREA RECREATION
DIuTRICT TO SEG~JRE LEASE FROM STATE LANDS
'3 ADJACENT TU BIDAELL RIVER PARK
4 AHEREAS, the County of Butte is the owner of certain lands
5 known as Bidwell River Park; and
6 ~HF,REA5, said Bidwell River Park is under lease to the Chico
-7 Area Recreation District for recreational purposes; and
8 '3~f3EREA5, there are certain lands immediately adjacent to the
9 said Bidwell River Park which are owned by the State of Califor~
10 nia; and
11 ArIEREAS, it is necessary for the expansion of the facilities
12 of the Chico Area Recreation District in that area for recreationa
''13 purposes
14 NO~l, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SiJPERVISURS
15 OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, that they hereby
;16 support the application of the Chico Area Recreation District to
~7 the State Lands Division for the lease of lands from the state to
'18 said districto
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board requests that the
'20 State Division of Lands lease to Chico Area Recreation District
21 those lands adjacent to Bidwell River Park, as are requested by
'',22 said district for the development of recreational purposesa
23 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF :SUPERVISORS of the
24 County of Butter State of California, this 29th day of December
25 19 64 , by the following vote:
