HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-1761 2 3 5 6 7 'S 9 10 11 12~ 13 14 15 {16 17 18 !19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 '129 30 31 32 RESOLUTTON NO'. 64~~6 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, BT.ATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, `STATE OF CALII'ORNIA, RE ORGANIZING SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND RE~ESTABLI~iING THE BOUNDARIES OF SCHOOL DISTRICTS ~fITHIN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE S~IEREAS, certification has been made by the County Superinw tendent of Schools that an election was held in the County of Butte on December 22, 1964, in the Centerville, Chico City, Cohasset, Forest, Nord, Pleasant Valley and Shasta Union School Districts for the purpose of determining whether said districts should be unified; and 7+~HEREAS, said election was called, held and conducted by the County Superintendent of Schools, as required by Section 3293 of the Education Code of the State of California,. and in compliM ance with the laws of the State of California; and ~sTEIEREAS, the majority of the votes cast were in favor of the unification, NO~~T, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS: 19 That pursuant to the authority conferred by the provi~ sions of the Education Code, Section 1647, that certain territory situate in the County of Butte, State of California, and more particularly described as follows, to wit;, Beginning on the North line of the County of Butte at its intersection with the center line of the Sacramento River; thence Easterly and Northeasterly along boundary line between Butte and Tehama Counties to the quarter section corner between Sections 10 and 11 T. 25 N;, R, 3 E.; thence.South erly along `Section lines 9~ miles to the Southeast corner of Section 27~ T, 24 N., R, 3 E,; thence Nest z mile to the quarter section corner between Sections 27 and 34, T. 24 N., R. 3 E,; thence South on half section line 1 mile. to the quarter section corner between Section 3, T. 23 N. R, 3 Ea and Section 34, T. 24 N.
