HomeMy WebLinkAbout644ORDINANCE N0. 64C~ AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA PURSUANT TO ORDINANCES NOS, 175 AND 522 OF SAID COUNTY' AND REPEAL~NG ORDINANCES','NOS.~?5?].0' 513;; AN~:F3`~ OF SAID COUNTY. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, under and:pursuant to Ordinance No. t~75 of. said County being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County, as amended by Ordinance No. 522, do ordain as follows: SECTION-l. The hereinafter described area, situate in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "AR=1" (Agricultural-Residential} District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations harem inafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area, south of the City of Chico, particularly described as follows: "Stanley Park Subdivision, as recorded in the Office of the Butte County Recorder in Map Book No. 6, page 105no SECTION 2. The following regulation shall apply in an "AR-1" D i stri.~t 2.l Uses Permitted: a. Single-family dwellings, not including tents or trailers. b. Accessory buildings pertinent to permitted uses c. Agricultural uses, including non commercial live® stock and poultry farming. 2.2 The following uses sub3ect to the securing of a use permit in each case:- a. Two family and multi«~family dwellings b. Golf courses and country clubs. c. Public and quasi public uses, including churches fire houses, hopitals, parks and playgrounds, schools, and public utility buildings. d. Private stables 2.3 Minimum building site area required: $ 125 sq. ft. 2.1~ Minimum building site width required: 65 feet 2.5 Minimum front yard required: 25 feet 2.6 Minimum side, yard required: 6 feet SECTION 3. All uses of land within-the District~ot specifically authorized and permitted ender Section 2 are prohibited. SECTION ~.. Penalties for any violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the District shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Or- dinance.. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to anal part of the 2oning~Enapling Ordinance. SECTION 5. Butte County Ordinaa.~.esNo6/63$, being~ordiaances affecting the land hereby zoned, ~s~iereby repealed, such repeal to take effect on the effective date of this Ordinance. ~Y SECTION 6. This Ordinance sha1.1 be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) daps after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) daps - after its passage, this Ordinance shall be, published once with the names of the members voting for and against it, in the CHICO ENTEftPRI3E RECC&~.D , a newspaper published in the ountp o Butte, tate o ali ornia.
