RESOLUTION Al`~(VD]NG RESOLUTION N0, 64.--99, AND ADOPTIl~IG MAP
AND REPORT OF ROUTES FOR_SEIECT SYSTEM AND REQUESTING THAT
SUCH SYSTFE~~I BE APPROVED BY THE QALIFORNIA F~IGHWAY COMMISSION

WHEREAS, Chapter 1852 of the Statutes of 1963 provides for the
' 3 establishment of a select system of City streets and County roads for the
4 purpose of expending thereon funds apportioned to the cities and counties from
the State highway fund and the expenditures of matching fends from other sources
6 and
WHII~EAS, Section 18603 of .the Streets and Hi.ghwuays Code, as adopted
by said Chapter 18$2, provides for the submission by each city and county by
9 October 1, 1961, a map and report of select system routes to the California

;10 Highway Commission for review and approval; and
11 Wf~ftEAS, on September 15, 1961,., Resolution No. 61~-99 was adopted
~'12 pursuant to and in compliance with the requirements of the aforesaid law; and
?13 WHEEtEAS, it now appears that certain modifications in the select
>14 system as heretofore approved should be made; and
'1`~ WHEREAS, there has now been presented to, .this Board for review a
lF revised map and report prepared by the County Road Commissioner to establish
', 17 a select system for the County of Butte;
'18 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of Superv~.sors of the

~1`9 County of Butte as follows:
2O 1. That certain map, entitled "MAP 0~' SEL'ECT SYSTEM OF COUNTY ROADS,
21 COUNTY OF BUTTE, CALIFORNIA", dated February 16, 1965, and that certain report
22 entitled "SELECT SYSTE@4 REPORT, COUNTY OF BUTTE", dated February 16, 1965,
23 copies of which are on file in the office of the County Road Commissioner and
'24 incorporated herein as if set out in full herein, are hereby approved by th~.s
;~~ Board as the select system of roads for the County of Butte under Section 18603
;26' of the Streets and Highways Code;
:27 2. The California Highway Commission is hereby requested to approve
28 the select system as sho~,m on the above-mentioned map and described in the
~29 above--mentioned report, subject to such modifications as the (3ommission finds
' 30 necessary;

3. The County Road Commissioner is hereby directed to transmit
certified copies of this resolution with the maps and reports to W. Lo Warren,'
District Engineer of the District III, Marysville, Division of Highways, for
transmittal to the California Ha.ghway Commission;
4. That Resolution No. 64-99 adopted September 15, 1964, entitled
'tResolution Adopting Map and Report of Routes for Select System and Requesting.
that Such 5~stems be Approved by the California Highway Commission" is hereby
amended in conformity with this resolution and the portions thereof in conflict
are hereby rescinded.
PASSID AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California at the regular meeting thereof on the 16th day
pf February , 1965, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Maxon, McKillop and Acting Chairman Giles
NOES: None
ABSENT: Chairman Pryde
NOT UOTTNG: None
