COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNT.~
RESOLUTION AUTHORISING COLLECTION, PAYMENT A:~ID ENFORCEMENT
OF TAXES FOR THE CITIES OF OROVILLE, CHICO, GRIDLEY AND

~iEREAS, the cities of Oroville, Chico, Gridley and Biggs
have passed ordinances providing for the collection, payment and
enforcement of taxes, including delinquent taxes, by and through
the county facilities pursuant to Section 5154-2 of the Government
Code of the State of California; and
~FiEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
have considered the matter and find that the function is for the
best interests of the public,
NOTr1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, that the auditor and treasurer shall
perform the duties of the assessor and tax collector for the
cities of Oroville, Chico, Gridley and Biggs.
B:C IT FURTHER RE50~:VED that this board finds that it is in
the public interest to perform such assessment and collection
services for said cities,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such assessment and collection
services for the cities of Oroville, Chico, Gridley and Biggs
shall be done without compensation from said cities,

of Butte, State of Cali.fcrnia, this 2nd day of March, 1965, by the
following vote:
