BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
3 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
2 RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FISH
AND GAME COMMISSION TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING

',4 WHEREAS, the County of Butte has received requests from
5 various sportsmans associations to request the State of California
6 Fish and Game Commission to conduct a public hearing in the County
7 of Butte for the purpose of determining the feasibility of holding
8 an anterless deer hunt in Butte County during the 1965 regular
9 deer season,
10 NCiW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ghat the State of California
11 Fish and Game Commission be requested to hold a public hearing
7.2 in the County of Butte for the purpose of determining the feasibi-~
;~3 lity of holding an anterless deer hunt in Butte County during the
14 1965 regular deer season,
15 BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the area of the hunt should be
18 limited to elevations near or above the 2500 foot elevation, and
17' that the number of permits to be issued should not exceed-the
'18 average number of regular bucks taken yearly in the area during
~9 the last three regular deer seasons.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOL"~ED that the Clerk of this board be
21 directed to transmit a true copy of this resolution to the State
22 of California Fish and Game Commission.
23 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of ;Supervisors of the
`24 County of Butte, State of California, this 9th day of March, 1965,
25 by the following vote:
