RESOLUTION N0. 65N
BOARD OF SUPERVISOR
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OPPOSING ASSEMBLY BILL ~k 2027
`~HEREAi, the costs of hospitalization and care in county
facilities to welfare recipients has created an undue burden
upon the financial resources of the county; and
'~7I~IEREA'S, many instances occur when it is discovered that
said recipient can fully repay said costs; and
~iEREAS, Assembly Bi11 ~~2027 would prohibit and make more
difficult the recovery of such cost,
NO;~T, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, that they oppose the
passage of .Assembly Bill ~k2027, and urge the Legislature to
register a vote in opposition thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Board forward

a copy of this Resolution to the Honorable Stan Pittman,. Senator
from the County of Butte, the Honorable Ray Johnson, ,Assemblyman
representing the County of Butte, and to all interested officials
and legislators as may be directed by the Chairman of this Board,
PASSED AND ADOPTER by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 4th day of May, 1965#
