1 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
2 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LITIGATION
3' TdHEREAS, on or about ,April 12., 1965, a vehicle collided ~
4 with the Honey Run Covered Bridge; and
5. AHEREAS, such collision caused a partial destruction of
6 said bridge; and
7 ~iEREAS, it appears there was negligence involved in said
8' collision,
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
I0 of the County of Butte, that the County Counsel of the County of
11' Butte is hereby authorized and empowered as follows:
12 .A. To take such steps as may be necessary and available
13 to obtain the recovery of `the damages caused in said
14. accident; and
15 B. If necessary, to prepare and prosecute for the County
16 of Butte, such proceedings in the proper Court .having
17 jurisdiction as may be deemed proper in the opinion of
lg the County Counsel; and
lg Cq To conduct all negotiations, litigation, and to obtain
20 such settlement as may be to the best interests of the
2I County of Butte-0
