HomeMy WebLinkAbout65-049U ' 1 2 3'. 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 ~ 1Z 12 13 14, 15 16 17 18 19 20' 2Z 22 23 24 25 26 27 28- 29 30 31 32" RESOLUTION NOo 65µi•9 BOARD OF SUP~VISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CA~.IFORNIA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXCHANGE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES (Section 960,4., Public Streets and Highways Code) T~IH.r^.~2EAS, the County of Butte is desirous of relocating a portion of the Chco~Butte City Highway; and '43iIEREAS, the owners of the property needed for construct«~ ion of relocation of the portion of the Chico~Butte City Highway have agreed to exchange their property for that portion of the County property which will be superseded by relocation, NOA, THEREFORk:, BE TT RE50LVID by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Buttes State of California as follows. That the chairman is authorized to execute the Agreement For Exchange of Real Property For Public Road Purposes with JOHN Lo THOMPSON,,ALTCE L. THOMPSON, ELIZABETH THOMPSON, RUTH THOMPSON HOPE, MARY Bo THOMPSON and JOHN L, THOMPSON, JR,, owners, whereby the County shall deliver a Quit Claim Deed to the owners for that portion of the existing road right~ofµway described as followss A portion of Lot 3 of 'Section 31., T20Ny 'R1E, and a portion of Section 6, T19N, RI S, bIDB&M, within the County of Butte, more particularly described as follows: A11 that portion of the existing right of way of the ChicoµButte City Highway lying southeasterly of the following described line; Commencing at the fence corner marking the point of intersection of the west right of way line of the Chico Butte City Highway and the dividing line of the Rancho Llano 'Seco and the lands of John L. Thompson et al, as recorded in Book 341, page 338 of the Official Records of the County of Butte; thence N 72n01'26" E along said dividing line 46,73 feet; thence S 345'34" E 256,22 Feet; thence S 0x08'26""W 2382.14 feet; thence 3 8951' 34" E 30.00 feet to the east right of way line of the above said highway; thence S 0~08~26 " ~7 along said east right of way line 125,30 feet to the true point of beginning of the line to be described; thence along the arc of a non-tangent 790x00 foot radius curves concave to the northwest, (radial line to said curve at this point 1 2 3 4 S 6. ;7',, ;8' 9'I 10. 11 12'. i3;'' 14: 15 16 1'7 18' . 19' 20 21 22 23 24 23 26 27 28 2S 30 31: 32 bears S 80~44'Ol"E) through a central angle of 80p37'13'~, an arc length of 1111,60 feet to the end point of this description, and whereby the owners shall deliver to the County a Grant Deed to the following described parcel: ~3 portion of Lot 3 of Section 31, T20N, R1E, and a portion of Section 6, T19~T~ R1E, MDB&M, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the fence corner marking the point of inter section of the west right of way line of the Chicn~Butte City Highway and the dividing line of the Rancho Llano Seco and the Lands of John L, Thompson et alp as recorded i:n Book 341, Page 338 of the Official Records of the County of Butte; thence N 7201'26" E along said dividing line 46,73 feet; thence 5 345'34" E 256,22 feet; thence S 0408'26" W 2382.14 feet to the true point of beginning of this description; thence S 89p51'34" E 30.00 feet to the east right of way line of the above said highway; then.c~ S 008'26" ~ along said east right of way line 125.30 feet; thence along the arc of a non tangent 790.00 foot radius curve, concave to the northwest (radial line to said curve at this point bears S 80~44'O1'" E) through a centres 1 angle of 8037'13", an arc length of 1111060 feet; thence along a radial line to said curve N 006'48" W 80.00 feet; thence along the .arc of a non~.tangent 710.00 foot radius curve, concave to the northwest, through a central angle of 8944-46", an arc length of 1112.12 feet; thence along a radial line to said curve S 89451'34"' E 40.00 feet;:to the true point of beginningo Containing an area of 2014 acres, more or lessor BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Butte shall pay into an escrow account with the Mid Valley Title and Escrow Company, the sum of One Thousand Two Hundred and no/100 ($1,200.00) Dollars, as payment to the owners for severance damage to the owners' remaining parcel. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of ButteR State of California, this Ilth day of May, 1965, by the following votes ~YES• SUPERVISORS GILES?
