CONSENTING
TO FORMATION OF MOUNTAIN VISTA ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT UNDER THE MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT
ACT . OF 1913 .
TO WORK DESCRIBED IN PROPOSED RESOLUTION
OF INTENTION HEREIN REFERRED T0, AND
TO CITY OF CHICO ASSUMING JiIRISDICTION FOR
. PURPOSES OF IMPROVEMENT_PROCEEDINGS OVER
AREA IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE,
AND APPROVING
PROPOSED RESOLUTION OF INTENTION.
WSEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Chico has presented
to this Board a copy, certified by said Clerk, o£ that certain
resolution entitled:

A. FORMING MOUNTAIN VISTA ASSESSMENT DISTRICT

C. ASSUMING ~fJRISDICTION THEREOVER

AREAS, there is attached to said resolution a form of
proposed Resolution of Intention that said City Council proposes
to adopt in a proceeding it proposes to conduct under the provi-
sions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, in order to construct
the work and improvements described in said proposed Resolution in
an assessment district designated Mountain Vista Assessment District
described and referred to in said proposed Resolution, and shown.
on the map of said district now exhibited to this Board; and
SEAS, this Board has considered the requests set forth
in said Resolution of said Council referred to in the first recital
of this Resolution, and has determined and hereby finds that said
Resolution complies with the requirements of the Municipal Improve-
ment Act of 1913 and that the public interest and convenience require
this Board to grant its approval and consent to the requests said
Council has made in its said Resolution.
NO~P' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BQARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1. That said proposed Resolution of Intention attached
to said Resolution cf said City Council of the City of Chico referred
to in the first recital of this Resolut ion, is hereby approved.
2. That this Board hereby consents (a) to the formation
of Mountain Vista Assessment District, as an assessment district
under the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, as said district was
described and referred to in said proposed Resolution of Intention and
as it was shoran on the map of said district exhibited to this Board;
and {b} to the work and improvements described in said proposed
Resolution of Intention; and (c) to the assumption of jurisdiction
over said work and improvements. by the City of Chico for the
pruposes set forth in said proposed Resolution of Intention and in

said Resolution referred to in said first recital of this Res41u-
ti0n.
3. That the Clerk of this Board of Supervisors is hereby
directed to forthwith transmit a copy of this Resolution, duly
certified by him, to the City Clerk of the City of Ghico.
~. That this Resolutior. shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY TBE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTS OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, THIS 25th DAY OF ~y 1965,
