STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION CONCERNING SENATE BILL N0. 1018 T~RFAS, at the request of the Supervisors of the County of Butte, Senate Bi11 No~_ 1018 was introduced, concerning the compensation far auditor , district attorney and the supervisors; and AHERFAS, the Assembly has established a policy of not accepting step salaries in the bills relating to compensation; and `T~I~EREAS, said Senate Bill No, 1018 contains said steps for the compensation of the district attorney; and ~HLRF,AS, it is desirable to amend said bill; and "AHERE,I-~fi, the 1964 Grand ,Jury of the County of Butte has# be resolution, determined that a fair and equitable compensation for the office of district attorney is the sum of $18,000000 per year, N0~3, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte that Senate Bi11 Noo 1018 be amended to prov'de for the compensation of the district attorney in the sum of $590 per year, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the secretary of this board shall forward a copy of this resolution to the Honorable :Stan Pittman, State Senator from Butte County, and to the. Honorable Ray Johnson, Assemblyman representing Butte Countya PASSED AND ADOPTS by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 25th day of May, 1965.,, by the following vote: SUPERVISORS GILES, FTOWSDENy MAyON, b~cKILLOP and AYES: CHATRNIAN PRYDE.
