RESOLUTION .AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF FIRE STATION SITE
~7HEREA~~ the Board of supervisors of the County of Butte
is desirous of purchasing a site for afire station to service the
needs of the residents of the unincorporated area east of the
city of Oroville; and
'WrIBREAS,_R MrSQ Betty Aangler has offered to sell to the
County of ButteF for the sum of $4,700,00 a parcel of property
which ;has been determined suitable for the erection of afire
station; and
T~iHEREAS, Notice of Intention To Purchase Real Property was
made pursuant to Government Code Section 25350.
NOA, TH~2EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte as follows:
That the following described real property be purchased
from Mrs, Betty 'Wangler for the sum of $4.700.,00:
1311 that property situated in the County of Butter
State of California, as follows:
A portion of Lot 47 of Oroville~~yandotte Fruit Lands.
Unit No, 2~ according to the Official Map thereofQ filed
as of record March 7.~ 1927, in Map Book 1L,~ pages 1.1 and
12„ Records of Butte County Californian more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Lot 47 on the
centerline of Walnut 13venue; thence south along the west
line of said 1ot~ 20,00 feet to the south right of way
line of said Walnut Avenue and the true point of beginning
of this description; thence continuing south along said
west lot line 275851 feet to the northwest corner of that
certain parcel of land conveyed by deed to Virgil Hensley
et ux by deed recorded March 7.~ 1958, in Book 930' page
322 Official Records of Butte County; thence east along
the north boundary of said parcel 200000 feet; thence
north along the west boundary of said parcel 125,00 feet;
t:nence continuing north, leaving said boundary 140,51 feet;
thence east 200,00 feet to the west right of way line of
Canyon Drive; thence north along said line 10.00 feet to
the said south right of way line of 77alnut Avenue; t1r nce
west along said line 400,00 feet to the true point of
beginning of this descriptiono Containing an area of 1311
acres more or less.
1 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVID that the chairman of the Board of
