WFiFRFARs the SUPERIOR DRYERS, INC. desires to construct and maintain
a spur track at the location hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, this track is necessary to serve the Corporations almond
processing plant; and
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Company for Superior Dryers, Inc. has
requested County of Buttes approval and permission to install said spur
track in order to make application to Public Utilities Commission; and
WHEREAS, the installation of said spur track is advantageous to the
economy of the County of Butte;
NOFI, THEREFOREs BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Butte does hereby
approve and grants permission to the Superior Dryers, Inc. for said spur track
installation at the location more particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning on the centerline of the spur track at a point
on the west .line of Estes Roads said point being 50.00 feet
north from railroadls Stirling City Branch and opposite ES
41-i-60; thence northeasterly along said centerline 60.00 feet
more or Less to a point on the east line pf said Estes Road,
said point being 75.00 feet north _from railroads Stirling
City Branch opposite ES /+2+20.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that approval and permission are granted upon
the execution of satisfactory encroachment agreement between County of Butte
and Superior Dryers, Inc.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, this bth day of JURY , 1965
