COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION REGARDING COUNTY EMPLOYEE'S OFF~STREET
PARKING
AHERE.SS, there is a need for all day offKstreet parking for
use by county employees who drive their cars to work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Oroville has made
provision for all day parking on approximately 50 percent of the
parking spaces on city parking Lot A on Montgomery Street and on
approximately 30 percent of the parking spaces on Lot B at Downer
and Bird Streets; and
~THEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Supervisors that
county employees make use of these off:~street parking spaces so
that parking spaces an the street around arxi near the Courthouse
wi11 be available for use by the general public,
NO'Y~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
that
to The board hereby requests that county employees. make
use of the offwstreet parking spaces provided by the City of
Oroville for all~day parking; and
2, That a copy of this resolution be sent to all departp
ments of the county and to the City Council of the City of Orovill
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the Count,
of Butte, State of California, this 27th day of JulyR 1965, by the
following vote:
