COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION REGARDING AS:SI~STANCE BY FEDERAL. AGENCIES
UNDER PUBLIC LA7a 875
~7HEREAS, on the 21st day of Decembers 1964, the President
declared a "major disaster" in the State of California under the
provisions of Public Law 875, 81st Congress as amended; and
Tr7i3EREA:S, the COUNTY OF BUTTE is a political subdivision
of the State of California,
NOSsT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
o f the County of Butte that the Office of i~3nergency Planning 'be
and hereby is requested to arrange to have the appropriate Federal
Agency perform the following emergency work essential to the
healthy safety or welfare of the people and property of this
public entity:
Minimum essential removal and clearance of debrisR
wreckage and snags from the channels of the Feather
and 'Sacramento Rivers adjacent to Butte County,
California,
This body certifies that., to the best of its knowledge and
beliefs the requested work is eligible under Public Law 875, 81st
Congress as amended and agrees to (a) provide without cost to
the United States all lands, easements, and rights~of«way necessar
for accomplishment of the approved work; and (b~ hold and save the
United 'States free from damages due to the approved work..
PASSED AND ADOPTS by the Board of :Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 27th day of July, 1965
