ENTERPRISE FUNDYe
T~JTIE^n.EAS, -the County of Butte has entered into a contract meth the State
~of California, Department of '.~~fater Resources to receive ~Jater from the State;
I and
?~•,'I-I~'~,AS, the County of Butte has entered into a cantract 1•,2th the Calif
GFater Service Company to supply water to Company from its State allotment; and
?:rI-~P~.r,AS, County of Butte may in the future contract to sell Urater to other
parties; and
bda,AS, the County of Butte is obligated to construct or cause to be
(constructed the water delivery structure and Trill be advanced monies by the
Company to cover construction casts; and
T•:rr~REAS, County tri11 bill Company far crater delivered to it at prices

stipulated in the contract between them; and
tv"dEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte that the sale of T~rater by County and construction of faci]ities and
reimbursement therefore be Handled through a special and separate fund; and
'~~I~T~EAS, Government Code Section 25261 grants authority to the Board of
Supervisors ~ the County of Butte, State of California, to establish such a f~
NOT, TK~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as follotirs:
1. There shall be established in the County of Butte a fund to be known
as '=;°later Service Enterprise Fund't and
2. All sales of water by the County and construction or purchase of all .
delivery structures, measuring devices or other equipment related to the
sale and delivery of water shall be handled through the "~•7ater Service
