COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
AMENDED RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COLLECTION, PAYMENT AND
ENFORCE~'IENT OF TAXES FOR THE CITIES OF OROVILI~:, CHICO,
GRIDLEY AND BIGG:S
WHEREAS, the cities of Oroville, Chico, Gridley and Biggs
have passed ordinances providing for the collection, payment and
enforcement of taxes., including delinquent taxes, by and through
the county facilities pursuant to Section 51542 of the Government
Code of the State of California; and
"'WHEREAS, the Board of 'Supervisors of the County of Butte
have considered the matter and find that the function is for the
best interests of the public,
NOI~7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SC3PERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, that the assessor and treasurer shall
perform the duties of the assessor and tax collector for the
cities of Oroville, Chico, Gridley and Biggsa
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this board. finds that it is in
the public interest to perform such assessment ani collection
services for said cities.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such assessment and collection
services for the cities of Groville, Chico, Gridley and Biggs
shall be done without compensation from said cities.
PAS'SE-'D AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 10thday of August,
1965, by the following vote:
