BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF R. P. O'NEILL
WHEREAS, R. P. (PETE? O'NEILL served the County of
Butte as Director of Public Works from October 20, 1958, to
August 25, 1965; and
WHEREAS, during said time he served as President of
the County Engineers Association of California, Chairman of
the Northern California Road Commissioners Association, was a
member of the Engineering Advisory Board of Chico State College
and of the xighway, Resources, and Flood committees of the
National Association of Civil Engineers, the County Engineers
Association of California, and the County Supervisors
Association of California., and numerous other committees;
NOW, THEREFOREf BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as
follows:
1. That said Board hereby memorializes its
appreciation of the meritorious services rendered to the County
of Butte and the State of California by R. P. O'NEILL during
his lifetime.
2. That the condolences of this Board be extended
to the members of the family of R. P. O'NEILL, and that the
Clerk of this Board forward a certified copy of this Resolution
to his wife, Jane O'Neill, and to his son, Michael O'Neiil.
3. That the regular meeting of this Board held on
the 31st day of August, 1965, be adjourned in memory of
R. P_ O'NEILL.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted and passed this
31st day of August, 1965, upon roll call by the following vote:
