Home My WebLink About65-093SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLUTION N0. 65-93 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER CHANGES IN WORK RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA: That in its opinion the public interest and conven- ience require changes in the work and improvements for SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT that are described in the following Resolutions of this Board: Resolution of Intention No. 64-86 passed August 11, 1964 Resolution Ordering Work No. 64-115 passed September 22, 1964 Resolution No. 65-25, Resolution of Indention to Order Changes in Work passed March 9, 1965 Resoltuion No. 65-29, Resolution Ordering Changes in Work passed March 23, 1965 Resolution No. 65-39, Resolution of Intention to Order Changes in Work passed April 20, 1965 Resolution No. 65-48, Resolution Ordering Changes in Work passed May 4, 1965 That it is the intention of this Board to order the work and improvements forSEIASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT changed, all as follows: VIT (Note: Changes I-V inclusive were ordered by Resolution 65-29 on March 23, 1965 and change VI was ordered by Resolu- tion No. 6548 on day 4, 1965. ) CHANGES IN WORK ALONG HIGHWAY 99 E (Amended Plan Sheets 17A 22 and 23) A. Construct Drop Tnlets, underground drainage pipe lines and necessary appurtenances at Engineer Stations 132+10 and 132+50 as shown on Amended Plan Sheet 17A. B. Change elevation of pipeline invert shown on orig- inal Plan Sheets 22 and 23 to elevations shown on Amended Plan Sheets 22 and 23 from Engineer Station 171+79 to 178+18 all in accordance with Amended Plan Sheets 22 and 23. VIII CHANGES IN OUTFALIS C AND F (Amended Plan Sheets 3, 4, 8, and 33) A. Construct 4 each Inlet Structures and necessary appurtenances at Engineer-. Stations C37+60, C 50+00, C 90+00, F 26+60 in accordance with Plan Sheet 12. B. Hinged Gates @ $75.00 150.00 Additions 10174 lineal feet Property fence posts @ $0.175 $1,780.45 -4~ Increases Reductions Total Additions for IX $1,780.45 Total Deletions for IX $5,074,22 SUM9~ARY Deletions Additions Changes - VII $1,519.16 Chaxiges - VIII 2,264.01 Changes - IA $5,074,22 i,7so.45 Total $5,074.22 $5,563.62 Net Estimated Increase in Construction Cost $489.40 (END OF DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES) That this Board hereby notifies all persons that the County of Butte will build the fences that this Board proposes to delete by this Resolution from the work for SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT anal notifies all persons that the County of Butte will pay for all the labor as~.d materials necessary for constructing said fences except for those certain fence posts now installed anal not pro- posed by this Resolution to be deleted. That this Board hereby notifies all persons that the estimated cost to build said fences and to supply the ma- terials therefor is the sum of $4,500.00, and therefore this Board hereby determines to reduce the $15,000.00 con- tribution that this Board. announced in Resolution No. 64-86 that the County of Butte would make toward the cost of the improvements for SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE .ASSESSMENT DISTRICT by the said sum of $4,500.00. That this Board hereby estimates that the changes above described will increase the cost of the work and im- provements for SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT -5- by the sum of $489.40 and estimates that the engineering and incidental expenses for said SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT will increase from the sum of $100,7`5.00 to the sum of $101,375.00. That this Board hereby estimates that the total cost of all work, improvements and acquisitions for SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT will increase from the sum of $614,943.25 to the sum of $616,032.65 on account of the changes in work above described as follows: Present~Estimated Total Cost $451,566.25 For construction cost (from Con- tractorts Bid and from changes previously ordered) 100,7~~5.00 For Incidental Bipenses 62,602.00 For cost to acquire rights-of- way $614,943.25 Total New Estimated Total Cost $452,05.65 For construction. cost (from Con- tractor ~ s Bid as previousl eh~ged ~.d as n chaxlged in this Resolutio 101,375.00 For Incidental Expenses 62,602.00 For cost to acquire rights-of- way $616,032.65 Total That the changes hereinabove described are shown on the amended plans and specifications approved by this Board on September ~, 1965, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of this Board and this Board hereby refers all persons to said plans and specifications for all details. -6- THAT THIS BOARD NEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it sets September 2s, , 1965, at the hour of ~~.;oo ~,r~. o'clock in the meeting room of the Board of Supervisors, of the County of Butte located in the Butte County Court- house at Oroville, California, as the time when and the place where any person having objections to the proposed changes herein described will be heard by this Board and when and where any such person may show cause why said proposed changes should not be ordered, and THAT THIS BOARD NEREBY GIVES NOTICE that any person desiring to protest to said proposed changes may file a written protest in the office of the Clerk of the Board at any time no later than ll:ooo~clock on said September 28 , 1965, That the Clerk of this Board shall cause this Reso- lution to be published once in the Chico Enterprise Record for the period of time prior to said hearing as required by law.
