BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RIO LINDO RAILROAD APPROACH
UNDER THE JOINT POWERS
'WHEREAS, the City of Chico and the County of Butte have
agreed to cooperate on the acquisition and construction of the
Rio Lindo Avenue approaches across Sacramento Northern Railroad;
and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish this purpose it is necess-
ary to acquire said property; anal
WHEREAS, there are no charges to be made to the County of
Butte,
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the authority to jointly enter
into agreements with the City of Chico, the Board of Supervisors
authorize the City of Chico to acquire such property as is nec-
essary to complete the approaches to the railroad crossing on Rio
Lindo Avenue where said road crosses the Sacramento Northern Rail-
road.
BE IT .FURTHER RESOLVED that any such property acquired by
the City of Chico will be obtained in the name of the County of
Butte, and submitted to the Board of Supervisors for acceptance
of the same.
BE IT FURTHER R"SOLVED that the County of Butte shall ente
into no expenses in regards to this acquisition.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of November, 1965, by the
following vote:
