HomeMy WebLinkAbout65-1181 2 3 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 2~ 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 'I 32 RESOLUTION NO,~~' BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors of Butte County have ins'ti.'titted proceedings for the establishment of a county service area within the County of Butte. NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved: 1. That a county service area is proposed to be established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the territories proposed far inclusion in the area are more particularly described in Exhibit "A'" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as though fully set forth verbatim and at length. 2. That the name proposed for said county service area is County Service Area No. 22. 3, That there are no extended county services provided in this area, 4. That the types of extended county services proposed to be provided in this area is the operation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of drainage and flood facilities located within the boundaries of the area described herein. 5o That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon all taxable property within such area. 6o That on December 289 1965, at 11:00 A.M., a pudic hearing will be held on the establishment of said area.
