RESOLUTION N0,~4' BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA 1 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA '2 :3 WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 4 3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of 5 Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the 6 establishment of a county service area within the County of Butte, 7 NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved: 8 1. That a county service area is proposed to be 19 established under the terms of theaForesaid chapter in the 10 unincorporated area of Butte County; the boundary lines of the 11 territories proposed for inclusion in the area are more particular• 12 ly described in Exhibit ~"A" attached hereto and made a part hereof 13 by reference as though fully set forth verbatim and at length, 14 2. Tkiat the name proposed for said county service area 15 is County Service Area No. 23, '16 3, That there are no extended county services provided 17 in this area, '18 4. That the types of extended county services proposed 19 to be provided in this area is the operation, maintenance, repair, '20 and upkeep of drainage anal flood facilities located within the 21 boundaries of the area described herein. 22 5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services which '23 are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon 24 all taxable property within such area.
