N O T I C E
and
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAYS,
OR PORTIONS THEREOF,
.and .
NOTICE OE` TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING
BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
COUNTY OF BUTTEz STATE OF CALIFORNIA,, as follows:
1. That it is the intention of said Board of Supervisor:
to abandon the County Highways, or portions thereof, hereinafter
described, if it is determined at the hearing as hereinafter set,
that said County Highways, or portions thereof, are unnecessary
for present or prospective public use.
2e That the hearing on this Notice and Resolution to
abandon County Highways, or portions thereof, shall be held on
Tuesday, December 14, 1965, at 11:00 A.M. of said day, in the
Supervisors' Room in the Butte County Court House, fronting on
Huntoon Street in Oroville, California, at which time said Board
will hear evidence of any party interested.
3. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall be
published in a newspaper of general circulation published in the
County of Butte, and hereinafter designated by this Board, for
at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the date fixed for
the hearing. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall be
conspicuously posted along the line of the highway proposed to be
abandoned for at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of said
hearing.
4. That the County Highways, or portions thereof, the
subject of this Notice and Resolution are situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, and more particularly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if
specifically set forth herein in detail.

5. That the Oroville Mercury Register, a newspaper of
general circulation, published in the County of Butte, State of
California, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which this
Notice and Resolution shall be published as required by law.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted and passed on the
23rd day of November, 1955, by the following vote;
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Howsden, Maxon, McKillop and Chairman Pryde
