RESOLUTION REQUE`ST1NG DEPARTMENT OF ~3ATER RESOURCES TO
3 PERMIT PRIVATE ENTERPRISE TO i3EVELOP RECREATIONAL. AREA

WHEREAS, the Department of Water Resources is presently
5
planning and considering the development of the recreational
6
areas surrounding Lake Oroville; and
7
WHEREAS, such. development is of special interest to the
S
County of Butte, all being located therein; and
9
-WHEREAS, this board feels that private enterprise
10
is the proper vehicle for recreational and other developments,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors

of the County of Butte, that the Department of Water Resources
Z3
of the State of California, in developing the recreational and
14
other facilities surrounding Lake Oroville, should place the
15
development of the recreational area surrounding Lake Oroville
16
in the hands of private enterprise to the fullest extent possible.

BE IT FURTHER RE50LVED that when considering private
is
enterprise, a number of small individual entrepreneur be given
19
the opportunity to develop the programsa
20
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
21
resolution be sent to the Depar;~ment of Water Resources, and
22
copies also sent to such other parties as the chairman may deem
23
proper.

County of Butte, State of California, this 30th day of November,

1965 by the following vote:
