3 [dFR:REAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3 of the
4 Government Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors of Butte
5 County have instituted proceedings for the establishment of a county service
6 area within the County of Butte.
7 NO~d, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved:
8 1. That a county service area is proposed to be established under
9 the terms of the afoz~esaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County;
i0 the boundary lines of the territories proposed for inclusion in the area are
11 more particularly described in Exhibit nAit attached hereto and made a part
12 hereof by reference as though fully set forth verbatim and at length.
13 2. That the name proposed for said county service area is County
14 Service Area No. 27.
15 3. That there are no extended county services provided iza this area.
16 4. That the type of extended county service proposed to be provided
14 is street lighting within the boundaries. of the area described herein.
18 5. That a tax sufficient to pay for such services which are
19 furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied upon all taxable
20 property within such area.
21 6. That on January ]$, 1966, at 11:00 a.m., a public hearing will
22 be held on the establishment of said area.
23 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 1965, by the following
24 vote:
