WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 23rd day of November, 1965, the Board of Supers sors of the County of Butte, State of Ca1.if- ornia, adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention to establish a county service area to be entitled "COUNTX SEitVICE AREA N0. 23"; and L7HEREAS, said Resolution fixed the 28th day of December, 1965, at 11:00 a.m. of said day, in the Board of Supervisors Room of the Butte County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville, State of California, as the time and place for the public hearing on the establishment of said area; and WHEREAS, said Board, at said time and place, proceeded to hear arguments both for and against the establishment of said area; and WHEREAS, no written protests against the establishment thereof were filed in accordance with Section 25210.17 of the Government Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPER- VISORS of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: 1. That said Board hereby finds and determines that proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to Section 25210.1 >_t seq. of the Government Code, and that publication and notices were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and 3etermines that the extent to trhich the services described in .he Resolution of Intention are extended county services; 2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said ty service area. 3..: , 'That the boundaries of said service .:._ ; are hereby 1 finally determined and established as the same as are shown on 2 Exhibit A, attached hereto, entitled "Description of the 3 Boundaries of County Service Area No. 23'°, said Exhibit is 4 incorporated herein by reference and made a part of this 5 resolution. 6 4. That the name of said service area so established 7 is "COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 23". $ 5. That the type of extended county service to be 9 provided within said area is the operation, maintenance, repair, 10 and upkeep of drainage and flood facilities. 11 6. That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services 12 which are furnished on an extended basis shall be annually 13 levied upon all taxable property within said area. ':j14 7. That said county service area is established far all 15 purposes subject only to compliance with the requirements of 16 Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code '17 and subject to the provisions of Article 2.5, Chapter 2.2, 18 Part 2, Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State 19 of California.
