3 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
4 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING-COUNTY SERVICE AREA
TO BE ENTITLED "COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 26 ;
5 (Government Code Sections 25210.1_et seq.).
6 WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 23rd day of November, 1865, th
7 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California,)
g adopted and passed a Resolution of Notice of Intention to
g establish a county service area to be entitled "COUNTY SERVICE
10 AREA N0. 2b"; and
11 WHEREAS, said Resolution fixed the 28th day of December,
and continued to ?:30.p.m.
L'12 lgo5, at 1:30 o~clack p.m./of said day, in the Board of Super-
13 visors Room of the Butte County Courthouse, in~the City of
'14 Oroville, State of California, as the time and place for the
15 public hearing on the establishment of said area; and
lg WHEREAS, said Board, at said time and place proceeded to
lq hear arguments both for and against the establishment of said
18 area; and
19 WHEREAS, no written protests against the establishment _
20 thereof were filed in accordance with Section 25210.17 of the
;21 Government Code;
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
23 of the. COUNTY 0~' BUTTE, State of California, as follows:
24 1. That said Board hereby finds and determines that
25 proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to Section 25210.1
26 et seq. of the Government Code, and that publication and notices
27 were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and
28 determines that the service proposed to be provided in the
29 Resolution of Intention is a county service;
'i30 2. That said Board hereby determines to establish, said
31 county service area.

1 3. That the boundaries of said service area are hereby
2 finally determined and established as the same as are shown on
3 Exhibit A, attached hereto, entitled "Description of the
4 Boundaries of County Service Area No. 26 ", said Exhibit is
5 incorporated herein by reference and made a part of this
g resolution.
7 ~4. That the name of said service area so established
g is "COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO, 26 ".
g 5. That the type of county service to be provided within
10 said area is sewage service involving the following improvements,
11 to wit: Facilities for the collection, treatment and disposal
12 of sewage of said county service area and its inhabitants, com-
13 prising main trunk lines, treatment ponds, pipes, pumps,
14 machinery, lands, easements, rights of way and other works,
15 property, or structures useful or necessary for the collection,
'lg treatment or disposal of sewage of said county service area and
17 its inhabitants.
18 'o. That except where funds are otherwise available, a
19 tax sufficient to pay for such service and the cost of the
20 acquisition, construction and completion of improvements shall
21 be annually levied upon all taxable property within said area.
22 7' That said county service area is established for all
23 purposes subject only to compliance with the requirements of
2r} Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code
25 and subject to.the provisions of Article 2.5, Chapter 2.2, Part
26 2, Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State of
