3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. ~ `S °Z
AND TERMINATING PREVIOUSLY ESTABLhSHED THR UGH
~ HIGHWAYS IN THE COUNTY OF BUTTE

6 WHEREAS, on the 3rd. day of 1959, "An Ordinance Estab-
7 lishing Through Highways in the County of Butte, State of California" was duly
' $ adopted and passed; and
9 WHEREAS, it is desirwable that vehicular traffic on certain of said
10 through highways so established be required to stop or to yield the right of
11 way at certain intersections hereinafter set forth;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
13 State of California, do ordain as follows:

14 That Butte County Ordinance No. 652 is hereby amended as
.1~ follows:
'16 1. That the intersections of Clark Road and Pearson Road be made a
X17 four-way stop,
1a 2. That the intersection of East Avenue and Cohasset Road be made a
19 four-way stop.
20 3. Tbat where Longfellow Avenue intersects with Manzanita Avenue
21 that vehicular traffic going northerly on Longfellow Avenue be required to
22 yield the right of way rather than stop.
23 That signs controlling traffic in accordance with the provisions hereof
~24 be erected at all of the aforesaid intersections.
25 This Ordinance sha11 be, and fs hereby declared to be in full force and
26 effect from and after sixty (6~) days after the date of its passage and before
'27 the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, this Ordinance shall be
28 published once, with_the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors:.
•29 voting for and against it in the Chico Enterprise Record a
30 newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
31 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
32 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, this 13th day of October, 1959
