RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CLAY CASTLEBERRY TO EXECUTE

WHEREAS, heretofore on February 9, 1965, this Board of
Supervisors authorized R,Po O'Neill, then Director of Public
Works, to execute in behalf of the County of Butte, all applicat~
ions and claims for the purpose of obtaining certain federa~-
financial assistance under the Federal Disaster Act; and
'4,THEREAS, since that dateQ the demise of R.P. O'Neill has
required the county to appoint a new Director of Public''Aorks; and
WHEREAS, Clay Castleberry has been appointed Director of
Public Taorks,
NOin7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVI SORB
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE that Clay Castleberry, Director of Public
~7orks, be and he is hereby authorized to execute for and in
behalf of the County of Butte, a public entity established under
the laws of the State of California, all applications, and to
file them in the appropriate state office, for the purpose of
obtaining certain federal financial assistance under the Federal
Disaster Act (Public Law 875, 81st Congress; 42 U.S.C. 1855~1855g)
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 4th day of January,
1966, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and
Chairman Giles
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
