RESOLUTION N0. o~-~
A RESOLUTION APPOTNTTNG ENGINEER AND ATTORNEYS
SIERRA DEL ORO, UNIT N0. 2 AND ADJACENT AREA
RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
California, that
I+IHEREAS, this Board has determined to undertake proceedings
pursuant to appropriate assessment and assessment bond acts for
the acquisition and construction of public improvements in said
County;
~••+IHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be
served by appointing and employing engineers and attorneys for the
preparation and conduct of said proceedings and work in connection
with said acquisitions and improvements;
N0~•d, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That Murray ~ McCormick, Tnc., Civil Engineers, Sacra-
memo, California, be, and they are hereby, appointed as Engineer
of Talork and employed to do and perform all engineering work neces-
sary in and for said proceedings, including all preliminary.
surveying, plans, profiles, specifications, estimate of costs,
diagram, assessment and warrant, setting grade stakes and super-
vision of work; that their compensation be, and it is hereby,
fixed at a reasonable fee to be sat forth in the estimate of cost
and approved by this Board and assessed as an incidental expense
of said proceedings; and that said A'lurray & McCormick, Inc., be
designated to make and sign any certificate or document required
to be made or signed by the Engineer of tdork.
2. The Director of Public ti~Torks of said County is hereby
directed to examine and approve the engineering documents, and to
provide inspection of the construction of said improvements and
to accept said taork when done to his satisfaction and, as County
Surveyor, to sign the warrant. The cost of said inspection shall
be assessed as an incidental expense of said proceedings.
3. That the law firm of ?^?ilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, San
Mateo, California, be, and they are hereby appointed and employed
to do and perform all legal services required in the conduct of
said proceedings including the preparation of all papers not re-
quired to be prepared by the Engineer, examining and approving
the engineering documents anal advising the Engineer in the pre-
paration of his Tvork, advising all County officials on all matters
relating thereto Z^rhen called upon, and furnishing their legal
opinion on the validity of said proceedings and bonds, and that
their compensation be, and it is hereby, fixed at two per cent
(20) of the total assessment, or Five Hundred Dollars (500) 1~rhich-
ever is greater, together ti~rith reasonable fees for services in
acquiring easements or in eminent domain or other suits, to be
assessed as an incidental expense of said proceedings.

PASSED and ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, California, on this 18th day of January ~ lgo6,
by the following vote:
