RESOLUTION N0. 06- 10
A RESOLUTIONT CALLING ~'OR SEALED PROPOSALS
SIERRA DEL ORO, UNIT N0, 2 AND ADJACENT AREA
RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
California, that
Z~THER~'AS, the said Board did, on the 18th day of January ~
196b, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 65- 7 to order the
construction of grading, pavement, e~x3ss, ~ and appurtenance
and storm drainage facilities and appurtenances in Sierra del Oro,
Unit No. 2 in said County, all as more particularly described and
set forth in said Resolution of Intention;
NOti~T, THEREFORE, the County Clerk of said County is hereby
directed to publish once a week for tyro weeks, in the
PARADISE POST a news a er of
p p general circulation
published and circulated in said County, a notice inviting sealed
proposals or bids for the construction of said improvements, and
referring to the plans and specifications on file in the office of
said County Clerk, the first of urhich publications shall be at
least ten (10) days prior to the time fixed for opening bids.
All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a certified or
cashieris check payable to the County amounting to not less than
ten per cent {lOf) of the bid, or by a bond far that amount and so
payable, signed by tUro sureties who shall justify before any
er competent to administer an oath, in double that amount and
and above all statutory exemptions, or by a corporate surety
and to the satisfaction and approval of the.County Surveyor. Said
check shall be forfeited or said bond shall become payable to said
county in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within
twenty-live (25) days after the first publication of notice of awa
enter into a contract with. the County Surveyor of said County.
Said sealed proposals or bids shall be delivered to the
County .Clerk of this County an or before 11x00 o'clock A~.M.
on the lst day of ~4arch ~ 19'00, said time being not
less than ten (10) days from the time of the first publication of
said notice. Bids will be publicly opened, examined and declared
on said day and hour.
