COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION CANCELLING BLOOMER HILL LEASE AND AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1956, the County of Butte entered
into an agreement with the State of California, with the consent
and approval of the Department of Natural Resources, Division of
Forestry; and
WHEREAS, said agreement was for the use of the Bloomer Hill
"site" for radio transmission; and
WHEREAS, said agreement was extended from year to year; and
WHEREAS, it is no longer necessary or desirable for the
County to maintain the facility at the Bloomer Hill location,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS that pursuant to the paragraph pertaining to cancell-
ation, the County of Butte hereby notifies the State of California
that said agreement is hereby terminated by the County of Butte.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the clerk of this board sha11
forward a certified copy of this resolution to the State of Calif-
ornia, Department of Natural Resources, the Division of Forestry,~~
and the Department of Finances of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by `the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 15th day of March, 1966,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McKillop and Pryde
NOES : None
ABSENT: Chairman Giles
