3 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
4 RFSOLUTION AND ORDER TO EXCHANGE PROPERTY IPI
ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION ?53b5 of the GOVERNN]ENT
5: CODE
6 WHEREAS, the County of Butte has abandoned and vacated a portion of
7 the Stilson Canyon Road by Resolution No. 06- 42 and
8 WHEREAS, the subdivider has reconstructed and relocated Stilson
9 Canyon Road to County standards and requirements; anc7.
10. b7EIEREAS, the County of Butte desires to exchange the old road right
Z1 of way for the new right of way; and
12 WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is not required for county use
I3 and the property to be acquired is required for county use;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors
15 County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
16 1. This Board hereby finds that the property to be exchanged is not
17 required for county use and the property to be acquired is required for county
18 use.
19 2. That the right of way as described in Resolution No. 66- 42
20 be quit Claimed to Irvin D. Schlaf and Ernestine J. Schlaf, husband and wife,
21 in return for the right of way received by deed from the Schlafs to the County
22 of Butte and as shown on the Stilson Canyon Subdivision,
23 Passed and adopted at the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors,
24 County of Butte, State of California, on the 5th day of April, 1466, by the
25 following vote:
26 AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McKfZlop, Pryde and Chairman Giles
27 NOES; None
28 ABSENT: None
