EMPLOYING ATTORNEY
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUN'T'Y OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA:
1. That EDGAR A. BOYLES, JR., Attorney at Law,
be and he is hereby employed by this Board to prepare all
1ega1 documents and resolutions, but not the Ass;ssment or
Report, for a proceeding to be taken by this Board under
the NS.i.nicipal Improvement Act of 1913 for a proposed
assessment district to be known as
BUTTE CREEK ESTATES
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT.
2. That the County of Butte pay to EDGAR A.
BOYLES, JR. for his services above described the sum of
money that is equal to 3J cf the amount assessed on the
lands in said district for acquiring and constructing the
public improvement work for said district, provided that
said sum shall be payable to him solely from monies received
from the sale of improvement bonds issued under tl~ proceeding
above described and that said sum shall be due and payable

to him five (5) days after the sale of said bonds.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF BUTTE, STATE OF CAZTFORNIA, THIS 19th DAY OF April.
1.966, by the following vote:
AYES: SUPERVISORS Howsden, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Giles
NOES: SUPERVISORS None
ABSENT: SUPERVISORS None
