WALTER B. GRIMES, R.C.E.
PREPARED FOR PROPOSED BUTTE CREEK ESTATES
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
AND
SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING PROTESTS THEREON
AND
DESIGNATING NE~iFSPAPER FOR PUBLISHING NOTICES
WHEREAS, this Board in ift'slResolution No. ~~ ~-~
Resolution of Intentien adopted /°~'~,12i ~ /'g 1966,
directed WALTER B. GRIIvIES, R.C.E. to prepare a Report
under the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of
1913 respecting the proposed construction and acquisiti on
oT certain improvements d/es cribed in said Resolution, and
WHEREAS, on /`r/~,Q/L /'f~'' , 1966, said WALTER
B. GRIMES, R.G.E. acting in accordance with. the direction so
made to him in said Resolution duly made and Tiled with the
Clerk of this Board the said Report, and
WHEREAS, said Report contains all the matters
specified in Streets and Highways Code Section 10,204 (the
applicable Section of said Municipal Improvement Act of
1913} and includes therein a proposed Assessment to be
levied in a proposed assessment district to be des.gnated
Butte Ereek Estates Assessment District, and

WHEREAS, the Clerk of this Board has presented
said Report to this Board and this Board has duly examined
and considered the same, and
WHEREAS, the County Surveyor-Director of Public
Works has reported to this Board that he inspected the
construction of those certain improvements described in
said Report that the County of Butte proposes to acquire
and has also reported that said improvements are built in
accordance with the plans and specifications therefor,
and
WHEREAS, WALTER B. GRIMES, R.C.E. states in
said Report that in his opinion the prices for the items
listed in his said Report are the f~.r and reasonable
prices for the same.
NOWT THEREFORE,
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF T~]E COUNTY OF BUTTE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA:
1. `That the Report of the said WALTER B. GRIMES,
R.C.E. described in the recitals of this resolution and all
the parts and portions thereof including the pirposed assess-
ment contained therein is hereby preliminarily adopted,
corLfirmed and approved.
2. That this Board hereby sets / ~~%~~
1966, at ~,Qo~clock ~. .M. in the Chambers of the Board
of Supervisors in the Butte County Courthouse in the City
of Oroville, California, as the time and place for hearing
protests to any matters contained in said Resolution of
Intention or in said Report or to the County of Butte

acquiring the improvements described in said Report or
to the County of Butte constructing the improvements des-
cr.i°bed in the Report or to the County of Butte assessing
the cost and expenses thereof on a proposed assessment
district to be designated Butte Creek Estates Assessment
District, and hereby directs the Clerk of this Board
to give notice of said hearing in the manner, form and
time required by the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913.
3. That this Board hereby designates the
C ~C ,~ ,g se ~c~i~w~paper published and circulated
in the County of Butte, as the newspaper in which to publish
all notices required to be published under the Municipal
Improvement Act of 1913 for the proceedings for the pro-
posed Butte Creek Estates Assessment District.
