RESOLUTION OF INTEN'T'ION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAYS,
5 OR PORTIONS THEREOF,
.and
6 NOTICE OF TIME AND PI~.CE OF HEARING

8 BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
9 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
10 1. That it is the intention of said Board of Super-
11 visors to abandon the County Highways, or portions thereof,
12 hereinafter described, if it is determined at the hearing as
~,3 hereinafter set, that said County Highways, or portions thereof,
14 are unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
15 2. That the hearing on this Notice and Resolution to
].6 abandon County Highways, or portions thereof, shall be held on
17 Tuesday , May 24 , 1966, at 11:00 A.M. of said day, in the
18 Supervisoris Room in the Butte County Courthouse, fronting on
lg Huntoon Street in Oroville, California, at which time said Board
20 will hear evidence of any party interested.
21 3. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall be
22 published in a newspaper of general circulation published in the
23 County of Butte, and hereinafter designated by this Board, for
24 at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the date fixed for
25 the hearing. That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall be
26 conspicuously posted along the line of the highway proposed to be
27 abandoned for at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of said
28 hearing.
29 4. That the County Highways, or portions thereof, the
30 subject of this Notice and Resolution are situate in the County
31 of Butte, State of California, and more particularly described
32 as follows, to wit:

l PARCEL F -- Larkin Road (South)
!2 All that portion of that certain County road numbered
02391 and commonly called LARKIN ROAD lying within lots
':3 Four (4) and Five (5) of the Fernandez Grant as said.
lots are described in the Decree of Partition issued out
4 of the District Court of the Fifteenth Judicial District
in and for the County of Butte, State of California, in
5 that certain action entitled "Pacificus Ord, Plaintiff
vs. Robert B. Moore and James Lo Renshaw, Defendants,"
6 on November 22, 1859, a duly certified copy of which was
recorded May 9, 1914, in Book 140 of Deeds at page 299,
7 Records of said Butte County, said portion being more
particularly described as a strip of land Sixty (60) feet
'!g in width extending from the North line of that certain
County road numbered 20355A and commonly called Hamilton
9 Road, Northerly to the South line of that certain County
road numbered 22361 and commonly called Oroville-Willows
10 Highway.
11 PARCEL G - Oroville-Willows Road - from Larkin Road (South)
to 1.5f miles east

A11 that portion of that certain County road numbered
13 22361 and commonly called Oroville-Willows Highway, being
portions of Sections 29, 28 and 27, T19N, R3E, MDB&M, lying
14 easterly of the northerly extension of the west line of
the County road known as Larkin Road and the southerly
'15 extension of the east line of that certain subdivision map
entitled, "Official Map of the Orange Subdivision of
16 Thermalito" filed in the office of the County Recorder of
Butte County in Book 7 of Maps at page 54.

18 5. That the Oroville Mercury Register, a newspaper of
lg general circulation, published in the County of Butte, State of
20 California, is hereby designated as the newspaper in which this
21 Notice and Resolution shall be published as required by law,
22 The foregoing Resolution was adopted and passed on the
23 2bth day of April 1966, by the following vote:
