BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AND ORDER EXCEPTING PROPERTY IN THE EL MEDIO FIRE
DISTRICT FROM STRUCTURAL FIRE TAX
WHEREAS, the EL MEDIO FIRE DISTRICT, COUNTY OF BUTTE, has
petitioned the Board of Supervisors in writings for the exclusion
of property from the levy of taxes for structural fire protection,
which said petition is supported by a Resolution of the governing
body of said District, all in accordance with Section 25643 of the
Government Cade of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RE,~OLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as
follows:
1. That pursuant to ~.e provisions of Section 25643 of the
Government Code of the State of California, all property within
the limits of the EL MEDIO FIRE DISTRICT in the County of Butte,
including all property which may hereafter be annexed to said
City pxior to tax levy being made thereon, is hereby excluded from
a tax levy to provide funds for structural fire protection of the
areas in the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California this 24th day of May, 19b6,
by the following vote:
AYES; Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McKillop and Chairman Giles
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Pryde
