BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNTA
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR PEST
INSPECTION CERTIFICATES
"h7HEREAS, each Agricultural Commissioner is an enforcing
officer of ail laws, rules and regulations relative to the preventi
of the introduction into, or the sp re ad within the state of pests,
and
WHEREAS9 pursuant to the Agricultural Code, Section 102,
fees may be established far certificates issued by such Agricultura
Commissioner, and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Agricultural Commissioner has
recommended that the Board of Supervisors establish a schedule
of fees to be collected by said officer far inspections of seed
crops,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVFT) by the Board of Super visors
of the County of Butte that the Butte County Agricultural Commiss-
ioner is hereby authorized and directed to charge a fee for pest
inspection certificates;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said fee shall be the actual
cost of inspection, and said cost of inspection shall be determined
as the actual hourly labor cost of the Agricultural Commissioner
or Deputy Agricultural Commissioner far the actual time required
for fie~sl inspection of seed crops, together with 25% of said
charge for labor overhead, there shall also be included 10~ a mile
for actual miles traveled for inspection and a 15% overall general
administrative overhead cost based upon the total charges;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Agricultural Commissioner
shall enforce such rules and regulations as provided for in the
Agricultural Code of the State of California, Section 102, as is
necessary for the proper inspectian of seed crops. He further

may refuse such inspection where violations of such rules occur or
when the requirements of the state or county of destination are
such as cannot be meta

by the following vote:
