WHEREAS, by resolution, the Butte County Mental Health
Service was established pursuant to the Short-Doyle Act in Butte
County, California; and
WHEREAS, Section 9009 of the Welfare and Institutions Code
provides that the local mental health services shall be administ-
ered by a local director of mental health services, or under a
psychiatrist-Director, or by the local health officer, or by the
medical director of the County Hospital, to be appointed by the
governing body,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that the
Butte County Medical Director and Superintendent shall administer
the Butte County Mental Health Service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14thm day of ?une, 1966, by the
following vote:
AYES; Supervisors Howsden, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Giles
