HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-092~~~ ~,_~ RESOLUTION N0. 66-92 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE WHOLE OF THE BUTTE COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 26 AS BEING BENEFITED BY THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE PURPOSES OF SAID SERVICE AREA WHEREAS, heretofore, on May 17, 1966, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, adopted and passed a resolution to incur bonded indebtedness for Butte County Service Area No. 26; and WHEREAS, said resolution fixed the 21st day of June, 1966, in the Board of Supervisors room of the Butte, County Courthouse, in the City of Oroville, State of Cali- forma, as the time and place for the public hearing on the following questions: 1. Will the whole or a portion of the Butte County Service Area No. 26 be benefited by the accomplishment of the purpose? 2. If only a portion of the area will be benefited, what portion will be so benefited? and, WHEREAS, said Board, at said time and place, pro= caeded to hear arguments from any person interested, including all persons owning property in said Butte County Service Area No. 26, upon the questions stated above; there being no protest received from residents, property owners or registered voters within the service area boundaries, or otherwise, except Name of Objector Reason for Objection Mrs. Bertha Moseley The undeveloped lands in the County Service Area will not benefit from the project for many years but will have to carry a heavy burden in the repayment of project costs. which was duly overruled by said Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Super- ' visors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: 1. 1.- That said Board of Supervisors hereby,fznds and° determines:that the whole of the. Su.tta County.Se:rvice. Area No. 26 will beberiefite.d by the accoinplishmen.t of providing within the Service-Area sevrage service, requa.ring the construe- tion and installation of facilities 'for the:collection, treat- ment and disposal of sewage,-comprising main trunk lines, pipes, pumps, mach~nery,.land, easements, rights of way, ,and other works, and property., structures, useful or necessary for the collection, reatmerit or disposal of sewage of said County Ser- vice Area No. 26 and its inhabitants. .PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 21st day of June, 1966, by the :following votes: AYES:-Supervisors Gi'1es,:Pryde, Maxon;... ..- and Hows:deri.
