RESOLUTION AND NOTICE DEC3~ RING INTENTION
TO SELL REAL PROPERTY (Government Code
Section 25526, et seq.
BE IT RE50LVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, as follows:
1, That said Boa rd hereby declares that it intends to sell
that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, State
of California, more particularly described as follows:
A portion of Section 36, T22N, RlE, MDB&M, more
particularly described as follows.:
Commencing at the most southerly m rner of Lot 10
of Sears Industrial Tract as filed in the Office
of the Recorder of the County of Butte,•State of
California October 5, 1928, in Map Book 8, page 45A,
and on the easterly right of way line of .the
Sacramento Northern Railroad; thence S 54°10' E
along said railrood right of way line and along the
westerly line of that certain parcel of land conveyed
fran Jo Arthur Danford and Rose Marie Danford to
Richard L, Humphreys and Agnes M. Humphreys, as
recorded January 4, 1950, in said Recorder's office
in Book 537 of Official Records, page 47, a distance
of 405,6 feet to the southwesterly corner of said
Humphreys parcel and the most northerly line of an
old County road (not in use) and the true point of
beginning of this description; thence S 78°56'00" E
along the most southerly line of said Humphreys parcel
168.50 feet to the westerly right of way line of Fair
.Street (formerly Humbug Road); thence S 37Q12'54" E,
leaving said Humphreys parcel and along said westerly
right of way Line 111006 feet; thence S 45° 55'33~U E
82058 feet to the northerly line of that certain parcel
of land conveyed from Clarence M. Baker and Hesper
Violet Baker to J.L. ,Swaim and Volmer K. Johnson as
recorded in said Recorder's office October 30, 1964, in
Book 1343 of Official Records, page 288; thence N 720
18'52"'J+7 leaving said westerly right of way line and
along the most northerly line of said parcel 164,41
feet to said railroad right of way line; thence
N 46°30'26" ~ along said railroad right of way line a
chord distance of 18bo39 feet to the true point of
beginning.
20 That the terms and conditions of said sale are as
~ follows:
(a) That the minimum price that will be acceptable for
32~~ the said parcel of real property is $5,760.00

l' (b) That the purchase of said real property is to be
2 paid in cash, as follows: 10"/o thereof to accompany bid and
3 balance upon the final acceptance by the Board of Supervisors and
4 the delivery of the deed to said real property.
5 (c) That the form of conveyance shall be a Grant Deed.
6 3. That Tuesday, the 2nd of August, 1966, at 11:00 AoM,
7 is hereby fixed as the time at which the Board of Supervisors
g ~ the County of Butte, at a meeting of said Board, will receive
g sealed proposals to purchase said real property and will consider
10 said seal proposals, and the place of said meeting will be in
11 the Supervisors' Room of the Courthouse, situate on Huntoon Street,
12 in the City of Oroville, County of Butte, State of California,
13 4o That a 5% commission will be paid to any licensed
14 real estate broker,
15 5. That notice of the adoption of this resolution and the
16 time and place of holding the meeting to consider sealed proposals
17 for the purchase of said real property shall be given by posting a
lg copy of this resolution, signed by the Chairman of the Board, in
Zg three (3) public places in the County not less than fifteen (15)
20 days before the date of the meeting, and by publishing the notice
21 in the County pursuant to Section 6063 of the Government Code,
22 to wit, once a week far three (3) successes weekso
2g 6, At the time and place fixed herein for the meeting to
24 consider sealed proposals for the purchase of said real property,
Zg the highest qualifying bid will be accepted9 unless upon a call
26 for oral bids, such oral bids shall exceed by at least 5% the
27 highest written proposals
28 7, The Baard of Supervisors shall consider written proposals
29 and oral bids separately and reserve the right to accept or
30 reject all written proposals and/or oral bids.
