BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION REGARDING YELLOW-BILLED MAGPIES
WHEREAS Chapter 3, Section 3800 of the Fish. and Game Code
specifies yellow-billed magpies (Pica nuttalli) as nonprotectedt~'
birds; and
WHEREAS, the yellow-billed magpies are causing crop da-nage;
and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Butte County Board of
Supervisors to rid the county of some of these yellow-billed mag-
pies,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
~IOF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
The yellow-billed magpie (Pica nuttalli) be declared
nonprotected until the 91st day after adjournment of the 1967
Regular Session of the Legislature, after which time this resol-
ution sha11 have no force or effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by t_h.e Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 5th day of July, 1966,
by the following vote:
