Courthouse
Oroville, California
Gentlemen:
Pursuant to the provisions in Sections 270T through 2705 of the
Education Code of the State of California please be informed that the Average
Daily Attendance in grades one through eight in the school maintained by the
Las Plumas School District, County of Butte, has been less than six (6) during
the fiscal year ending June 30, 1966. Said Las Plumas School District has been
organized more than three (3) years,
In addition to this report the County Superintendent of Schools is
required, in Section 2703 of the Education Code, to recommend to the Board
of Supervisors the district or districts to which the territory may best be annexed
after the district has been lapsed. It is my recommendation that the entire territory
now contained within the Las Plumas School District be annexed to the Golden
Feather Union School District, an adjacent school district in Butte County.
The County Superintendent's Office will be pleased to provide
further information or counsel which will permit action by the Board as required
in Sections 2704 and 2705.
Respectfully submitted,
~~
