HomeMy WebLinkAbout66-109~' i :.,} 4~/ 1 \~_, - _ ~~ 1 NUMBER 66-10° rZ BOARD OF-SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA 3 ORDER ABANDONING COUNTY HIGHWAYS 4 AND PORTIONS THEREOF 5 This matter came on regularly-for hearing before the 6 Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, 7 on Tuesday, the 12th day of July, 1966, at 11:00 a.m. of said '8 day, in the Supervisor's Room of the Butte County Courthouse, 9 fronting on Huntoon Street, in Oroviile, California, and it 10 appearing to said Board that a notice and resolution of intention 11 to abandon County highways or portions thereof, and notice of 12 time and place of hearing, was heretofore duly adopted, and that 13 notice of time and place of hearing of said abandonment was 14 duly and regularly given as required by law, and persons 15 having appeared both for and in opposition to said abandonment, 16 and evidence, both oral and documentary, having been produced 17 at said hearing, from which said Board now finds that the 18 hereinafter described County Highways and portions thereof are 19 unnecessary for present and prospective use; 20 NOTni, THEREFORE, IT IS fIEREBY ORDERED as follows: 21 1. That the County highways and portions thereof 22 situate in the County of Butte, State of California, as 23 hereinafter more particularly described, are hereby abandoned. 24 That said County highways and portions thereof to be so abandone~ 25 are situate in the County of Butte, State of California, and 26 more particularly described as follows, to wit: 27 PARCEL F - Larkin Road (South) 28 All that portion of that certain County road numbered 29 02391 and commonly called LARKIN ROAD lying within lots Four (4) and Five (5} of the Fernandez Grant as said 30 lots are described in the Decree of Partition issued out of the District Court of the Fifteenth Judicial District 31 in and for the County of Butte,-State of California, in that certain action entitled "Pacificus Ord, Plaintiff 32 -1- 1 2 3 '4 5 . 6 7 8 9 10 I1 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 vs. Robert B. Moore and James L. Renshaw, Defendants," on November 22, 1859, a duly certified copy of which was recorded May 9, 1914, in Book 140 of Deeds at page 299, Records of said Butte County, said portion being. more particularly described as a strip of land Sixty (60) feet in width extending from the North line of that certain County road numbered 20355A and commonly called Hamilton Road, Northerly to the South line of that certain County road numbered 22361 and commonly called Oroville-Willows F3ighway, PARCEL G - Oroville-Willows Road - from Larkin Road (South) to 1.5+ miles east All that portion of that certain County road numbered 22361 and commonly called Oroville-Willows Highway, being portions of Sections 29, 28 and 27, T19N, R3E, MY]B&M, lying easterly of the northerly extension of the west line of the County road known as Larkin Road and the southerly extension of the east line of that certain subdivision map entitled, "Official Map of the Orange Subdivision of Thermalito" filed in the office of the County Recorder of Butte County in Book 7 of Maps at page 54. 2.
