RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGR~IT B~r+)'k~T COUNTY
OF BUTTE AND SOUTHERN PACIFIC COP+IPANY RE WEST
LIBFITTY ROAD, CROSSING C-156.9, GRIDL~Y
T+1FU;REAS, COUNTY OF BUTTE ~ conjunction with Southern. Pacific Company

Public Utilities Commission has conducted a survey of grade crossings in
to County; and
~~1FI~tEAS, it has been determined that the above mentioned grade crossing
unsafe and extremely hazardous to the safety and we11 being of the traveling
public; and
~~7HEREAS, in order to provide the needed protection, the above-
mentioned grade crossing ca71s for the alteration and improvement of Southern
Pacific Company Crossing ~C-156.9;
N04d, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby approves that certain indenture made the
19tH day of July , 1966, by and between SOUTHERN PACIFIC COTIl'ANY
and COUNTY OF BUTTE, wherein an easement for the crossing hereinabove described
is granted to the COUNTY OF BUTTE including a summary of estimate for the cost
of said wark.
2~ The Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized to execute, on
behalf of the County of Butte, said indenture, and his signature attested to by
the Clerk of this Board, and acknowledged.
3• That a certified copy of this Resolution be attached by the Clerk o
said Board to said indenture and the required copies thereof.
PASSED ANA ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
