WHEREAS, COUNTY OF BUTTE proposes to relocate West Lindo Avenue from
its present connection to State Route 32 near Sandy Gulch to provide for
traffic safety; and
WHEREAS, the relocation of West Lindo Avenue necessitates the reloca=
tion of Southern Pacific Crossing C186.~r; and
WHEREAS, the relocated Southern Pacific Grossing requires automatic
crossing protection;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby approves that certain indenture made the
day of , 1956, by and between SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
and COUNTY OF BUTTE, wherein an easement for the crossing hereinabove described
is granted to the County of Butte including a summary of estimate for the cost
of said work.
2. The Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized to execute, on
behalf of the County of Butte, said indenture, and his signature attested to
by the Clerk of this Board and acknowledged.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be attached by the Clerk
of said Board to said indenture and the required copies thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, this 23rd day of Au ust , 1966, by the following
vote:
AYES; Supervisors ~iowsden, Maxon, McKillop, P•ryde and Chairman Giles
