DESIGNATED."BUTTE COUNTY SERVICE AREA N0. 4-, ANNEXATION NO. 19&6-1" AND ORDERING ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, California, that WHEREAS, on August 23, 1866, this Board adopted its Resold lution No, 66-_.130 , A Resolution Initiating Proceedings for Annexation, Butte County Service Area No, ~F, Annexation No, 1866-1 and which provided for a public hearing on the proposed annexation in accordance with the County Service Area Law; and WHEREAS, Notice of Hearing was given in accordance with Section 25210.82 of the Government Code of the State of California and in accordance with the requirements of law; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte met at the time and place set for hearing on said annexation, at which. time all persons interested in the proposed annexation were given an opportunity to file written objections to the proposed annexation end to be heard in regard to all matters relating to said annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, that 1. At the hearing no protests were presented to the Board of Supervisors and that said protests constitute less than fifty percent of the registered voters residing within the terri- Cory proposed to be annexed to said County Service Area No. ~ and are less than the owners of one-half or more of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed to said County Service Area No. 4 as shown on the last equalized assessment roll, and said Board of Supervisors hereby overrules any and all of said protests. 2. The proceedings prior hereto were valid and in con- formity with the requirements of the County Service Area Law, 1 I Chapter 2, Part 2, Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State of California. ~. Th:e~territory proposed to be annexed is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof and that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has acquired ,jurisdiction to order the annexation of the territory to said County Service Area No. 4. 4. Annexation of said territory is hereby ordered to County Service Area No. 4 and the annexation shall be effective immediately subject only to the requirements of law. 5. The County Clerk shall be authorized and instructed to prepare and execute the necessary documents for filing in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code constituting Sections 54900, et seq., which filings are required in the Office of the State Board of Equalization and in the Office of the County Assessor.
