BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTX OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR COUNTING OF BALLOTS AT
CENTRAL LOCATION
WHEREAS,, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte is
designated as the Election Board for the County of Butte; and
WHEREASA it is for the best interests of the public that the
ballats cast at any election in the County of Butte be counted at a
central locations
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS,
acting as the Election Board of the County of Butte, State of California,
that henceforth the ballots cast at all state and county primary general
elections shall be counted at ;. the Courthouse of said county, located
on Bird and Huntoon Streets in the City of Orovilleg and said place is
designated as the central location where all ballots will be counted
This Resolution is made pursuant to Section 17601 of the
Election Code of the State of California„
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of Californian this 11th day of Oetoberx 1966, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden~ Maxon McKi7.lop and Chairman. Giles
NOES: None
