COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION OF ABANDONMENT OF BUTTE COUNTY HIGHWAY

3 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
4 State of California, heretofore declared its intention to vacate
5 and abandon the following described public highway of the County
6 of Butte:
7! All that certain real property situate in the County o€
Butte, State of California, described as follows:

A portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 26,
9 Township 24 - North, Range 2 East, M.D.B.&:M., more
particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Section 26;
3.1 thence South 00° 57' 40" East, 1694.64 feet along
the west line of said Section 26; thence North 89°
12 02' 20" East, L0.00 feet; thence North 00° 57' 40"
West, 1694.64 feet more or less, parallel with the
13 West line of said Section 26 to the North line of
said Section 26; thence Westerly 20.00 feet along
14 the North line of said Section 26 to the Point of
Beginning;

WHEREAS, upon filing Resolution of Intention to Abandon said
17
highway, the ward of Supervisors did, by order, fix the lst day
18
of November, 1966, at 11:00 A.M. of said day, at the Butte County
19
Courthouse, Oroville, California, as the time and place for a
20
public hearing; and

WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was given to all freeholders
22
of the district in which said highway is located by publication
23
for two successive weeks prior to the date of said hearing, in the
24
Oroville Mercury, and by pasting similar notices along the line of
25
the highway proposed to be abandoned; and

27 WHEREAS, it appears that all legal requirements have been
28 complied with, and the board, being fully informed and advised,
29 finds that the highway described in said resolution is unnecessary
30 for present or prospective public use,
31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
32 of the County of Butte, State of California, that the public

highway as above described is hereby ordered vacated and
abandoned. The County Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified
copy of this Order in the office of the County Recorder of Butte
County, for record.
PASSED AND AbOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 1st day of November,
1966, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden~ Maxon McKillop~ Pryde and Chairman Giles
