Bf~ARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALTFORNIA
RESOLUTION FIXING ADDITIONAL TAX RATE FOR PALERMO
UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT PURSUANT TQ SECTION 29100
QF THE GOVERNMENT CODE AND 17925.5 OF THE EDUCATION
CODE.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte have heretofore,
on the 30th day of August, 1966, adopted a final budget and fixed the tax rate
for the County of Butte; and
WHEREAS, Section 17925.5 of the Education Code provides for the levying of
an additional tax rate; and
WHEREAS, the Palermo Union School District Board of Trustees did on
EYctober 13, 1966 adopt a resolution increasing the tax rate of the district by
eighteen cents (18~) for each $100.00 of taxable valuation, and did file said
resolution with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte on
October 14, 1966,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
€~F BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
That said board does hereby fix an additional .rate for the Palermo Union
School Aistrict taxes on the secured roll~of said county for the fiscal year
1966-1967, in the sum of eighteen cents (18~) for each $100.00 of taxable value
on the property within the Palermo Union School District.
That said additional tax rate is fixed pursuant to Section 17925.5 of the
Education Codeo
PASSED AND ADOPTER by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, this 15th day of November, 1966, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Howsden, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Giles

Notwithstanding the provisions ofs~e~C'titiri°' 0®~=a~f~s~t-he
Government Code, or any other provision of law to the contrary,
the rate of tax fixed to be levied and collected within a school
district for the 1966-67 fiscal year only, may be increased,
on or before October 1~-, 1966, by the amount required for purposes
of the preceding paragraphs of this section.

Therefore, the Palermo Union 6chool District resolves
to increase the tax rate by an additional 18¢ in accordance
with the provisions of as52, Education Code 17925°.5•
